Pupils in First and Second Class enjoying an introduction to coding using digital technologies. Pupils had great fun programming the Beebots on where to go!
The children were busy making their clay 'Wild Things' taking inspiration from the book 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak on a rainy Friday afternoon! We were delighted to have Alma Jordan from AgriKids here this morning who gave an excellent lesson on farm safety. Today was a sad occasion as we said farewell to sixth class and also to Mr. Robinson. We wish them all the very best for the future. On Monday we raised both our Green Flag for biodiversity and our first Active School Flag. We then celebrated with an ice-cream! Our U-13 Hurling team reached the County Final in Semple Stadium. We came up against a very strong team from Barnane who were deserving winners on the day. There was some wonderful hurling throughout the game and some excellent scores from both sides. Well done again to all involved and we would like to thank the local GAA club for all their support during the year.
